Who we are
Munti Batik works with people from the dry and remote region of Muntigunung in North-East Bali, to create quality natural-dye batik textiles. We are a small-scale eco-friendly practice, using only plant dyes to color our fabrics and all wax relief motifs are painted or drawn by hand. Learn more about us here.

Job Position

Social Media Manager, Part-Time

Build our audience and increase brand awareness for Munti Batik and promote our current textile collection online to boost sales.

Core Responsibilities

1. Copywriting for Social Media
○ Creating engaging and effective captions, text content, and campaign
messaging for MUNTI BATIK’s social media platforms. Including
responding to comments/post interactions.

2. Design for Social Media Content
○ Develop visually appealing content using existing media (photos and video
footage) provided by Munti Batik, and create new content where needed.

3. Social Media Planning and Scheduling
○ Maintain a content calendar and organise posts to ensure
consistent flow and strategic social media activity.
* Familiarity with using a scheduling app. (we use Buffer)

4. Lead New Campaign Development
○ Collaborate with our team to brainstorm, plan, and design fresh campaign ideas
and lead the design and execution of the campaigns.

5. Use instagram analytic reports to guide marketing strategy.

6. Generate quarterly performance reports

Terms of Contract
1. Work Hours: Part-time 18 hours per week (days of work to be negotiated).

2. Contract Duration: Monthly basis with a 3-month trial period.

3. Salary Fee: Base Fee with opportunity for progression for the right candidate
